In a significant development, the Special Investigation Team (SIT) probing the actor abduction and sexual assault case on Thursday night decided to arraign actor Dileep as the first accused.
Emerging out of the meeting held at the Aluva Police Club here, Superintendent of Police, Aluva Rural, A.V. George said the chargesheet would be filed shortly. Sources who wished to remain anonymous said that legal advice was being sought on the move to make the actor first accused and legal aspects would be further explored before submitting the report.
