Daytime load-shedding withdrawn

The cyclic one-hour load-shedding introduced by the Kerala State Electricity Board (KSEB) in the State since March 24 to overcome the power crisis has been withdrawn.

Announcing this during the question hour in the Assembly on Tuesday, Electricity Minister Aryadan Mohammed said the necessary directive in this regard had been given to the KSEB.

However, the 30-minute load-shedding introduced during the evening peak hours in the State would continue.
