Correct wayward staff, CM exhorts unions

Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan has urged State service organisations to correct corrupt employees. Addressing the annual convention of Joint Council of State service organizations here on Sunday, he said people were looking at government officials with contempt because of the presence of a small group of corrupt persons among them. Government officials, including police, should not behave improperly. In case they do, the people would also respond in a similar way. He said that the government would initiate foolproof measures to impound unaccounted wealth. — Special Correspondent
