The 21st Kerala circle conference of the Sanchar Nigam Executives' Association (India) will be held here at the Pagoda Resorts on Wednesday and Thursday.
Addressing a press conference here on Tuesday, Circle president K. D. Sebastian and Circle secretary N.A. Abraham said the Kerala Circle, comprising Kerala, Lakshadweep and Mahe, had over 2,500 members while the association had over 30,000 executives as members from across the country.
With Union Government policies inclining towards disinvestment and consequent privatization, the conference would deliberate on strategies to fight every agenda on disinvestment; on new schemes to make BSNL more attractive to customers; improve customer service, to popularize BSNL; aggressive marketing of 3G Data cards and other topics.
The two-day conference would have an open session from 2.30 p.m. on Thursday, which would be inaugurated by Premachandra, BSNL chief general manager (Telecom), Kerala Circle.
