The BJP organised demonstrations in the district centres of Kerala this morning against price rise and terrorism.
BJP workers marched to Central government offices in the districts except Thiruvananthapuram raising the slogan “check price rise, jail the terrorists.”
The protest was against wrong policies of the Centre and State governments and their failure to check price rise and activities of terrorists, party spokesman George Kurian said.
BJP State president V. Muraleedhran inaugurated the march before BSNL Office in Kottayam. Other State leaders launched the marches in other districts.
Thiruvananthapuram was excluded as a demonstration had been held here earlier.
The party will organise a gathering of patriots in Thissur this evening. It would be attended by social, cultural and political leaders, including Metropolitan Mar Aprem of Church of the East India and Justice K. P. Radhakrishna Menon, the spokesman said.
