The stage is set for election in 16 Assembly constituencies in the district. Around three million voters will exercise their franchise in the district on Monday.
Election materials, including EVMs, will be distributed at 10 centres across the district from 10 a.m. on Sunday. Officials on election duty should reach the distribution centres an hour in advance. They should collect the materials after finding their team and designated polling stations. There will be 2,361 polling booths in the district for 30.33 lakh voters
