The Judicial First Class Magistrate Court in Angamaly on Tuesday completed scrutiny of the supplementary chargesheet in the actor abduction and assault case and accepted the same in its file.
Having submitted for its consideration on November 22, the report had been under the verification of the court and it was accepted in file after rectifying all technical errors in the case.
Considering the gravity of the offences involved, the case is most likely to be committed to the district sessions court for further proceedings.
As per the case, actor Dileep, the eighth accused, conspired with the key accused Sunil Kumar, aka Pulsar Suni, to commit the crime. There are 12 accused in the case while two persons, including a civil police officer, have turned approvers.
The police have listed over 355 witnesses in the case.
