In a grim pointer to sexual exploitation of minor girls in Kerala, seven minors have been allegedly molested in Wayanad.
The police said five men were taken into custody in connection with the incident. The children had been sexually exploited by the accused for the past six months on their return to nearby hostel from the school. The issue came to light two days ago when a school official saw a girl in a suspicious circumstance in a nearby shop. When she was interrogated the girl revealed that as many as six girls were also sexually exploited.
