Out of the 55 divisions in the Kollam City Corporation, 30 will come under the reserved category for the coming local body elections slated for November.
Twenty eight of the reserved divisions are for women and the remaining two in the reserved general category.
From the 28 reserved for women, two, Maruthadi and Vallikeezhu divisions, will be for candidates from the Scheduled Caste communities.
The two divisions reserved for the Scheduled Communities in the general category are Kadappakada and Manakkad.
The other 26 divisions reserved for women are Shakthikulangara, Meenathucheri, Kavanad, Thevally, Uliyakovil, Koikkal, Kallumthazham, Mangad, Amman Nada, Pallimukku, Ayathil, Kilikollur, Palathara, Valathungal, Thekkumbhagam, Eravipuram, Thekkevila, Mundakkal, Pattathanam, Cantonment, Udayamarthandapuram, Pallithottam, Port, Kacheri, Kaikulangara and Tangasseri.
