‘Walk for Diabetes’ in Hubballi

With an objective of sensitising the general public on diabetes and related complications, a ‘Walk for Diabetes’ and ‘Mega Diabetes Mela’ is being organised in Hubballi to mark ‘World Diabetes Day’.

The Hubballi branch of Indian Medical Association (IMA), Hubballi-Dharwad branch of Association of Physicians of India (API) and South Western Railway’s Central Hospital are jointly organising the event on November 16 in which several hundred people are expected to participate.

President of IMA, Hubballi, Rajratan B. Ghanti told press persons on Wednesday that starting from November 14 programmes such as free blood sugar screening camp, special camp for children, flash mob and continued medical education (CME) programme would be held in the city.
