Popular singer Vijay Prakash enthralled the audience on Sunday, the last day of Hoysala Utsav, with his melodious singing.
Many people, particularly youths, were dancing to the songs sung by Vijay Prakash. Inspired by the encouraging reaction of the audience, Vijay Prakash continued the programme till late midnight. He said he was very much impressed by the appreciative audience.
“I can continue to sing all through the night, if I get audience like you,” Vijay Prakash said.
He started his programme with a classical song and ended with his popular number ‘Jai Ho’ from the movie Slumdog Millionaire.
H.C. Mahadevappa, Minister for Public Works and in charge of Hassan district, also sat through the programme and left the venue only after felicitated the singer with a memento.
