Simon Anthoniyappa, an aide of slain forest brigand Veerappan, who is a death row convict incarcerated in the Hindalga Central Prison in Belgaum, was shifted to the Karnataka Institute of Medical Sciences (KIMS) Hospital in Hubli for advanced treatment.
