Members of th eAkhila Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishat carried a 500-metre-long national flag through the main streets of Belagavi on Wednesday, as part of the Tiranga rally.

This was among the programmes planned by the student organisation as part of the Swami Vivekananda and Sister Nivedita birth anniversaries.

Sri Kaivalyanand Swami of Godgeri Mutt and Sri Shivayogi Swami of Karanji Mutt addressed the students at the Dharmaveer Sambhaji Circle. They advised them to keep away from addictions and drug abuse.
