For lakhs of students appearing for the SSLC exam, the first language paper turned out to be easy. As many as 8.49 lakh students appeared for the examination for eight languages across the State. While freshers are taking the examination in the Continuous and Comprehensive Evaluation method, private candidates are taking it in the traditional method. Nithin Kumar, a student of Old Fort High School, said the Kannada paper was very easy. There were rumours doing the rounds of a Kannada language paper leak. The KSEEB later verified the questions appearing on messaging platforms and found that they had no similarity to the question paper.
