Teachers told to improve SSLC results by motivating students

Vimala, Senior Assistant Director, Karnataka Secondary Education Examination Board, called upon the teaching fraternity to improve SSLC results in the district by motivating students to engage them in curricular activities.

Speaking at a meeting with the headmasters at Gandhi Bhavan here on Tuesday, Ms. Vimala has asked headmasters to strive towards improving results in the SSLC examination, and place the district in the top in the State this year.

The teachers should focus on providing quality education to students to improve SSLC results in Mandya district.

Over 400 headmasters from all Government, aided and unaided schools across the district, Block Education Officer Mahadeva told The Hindu .

The department has been initiating various measures, including conducting special classes, across the district to improve the results, he said.

Deputy Director for Public Instructions M. Shivamadappa, SSLC Nodal Officer Chandrkanth, Block Education Officers Mahadeva, Manjunath and others were present.
