TCS ‘IT Quiz’ in Hubballi on March 24

The regional round of the Sixth edition of the Engineering IT Quiz ‘TCS Tech Bytes’, which is open for engineering students of all streams and semesters in Karnataka will be held in Hubballi on March 24.

TCS, leading IT services organisation, organises the annual event in association with Board for IT Education Standards (BITES), an autonomous agency promoted by Government of Karnataka in association with IT industries.

According to a release issued here, the objective of the quiz is to enhance the knowledge and awareness of students and enable them to compete in the fast paced technology intensive industry.

In addition to application of technology, the business, new trends and legends, the quiz will also focus on emerging areas like cloud computing, telecom, social media, biometrics and robotics and other issues.

While the Hubballi round will be held on March 24, the other regional rounds will be held at Tumkur (March 14), Mysuru (March 17), Mangaluru (March 19), Kalaburagi (March 26) and Bengaluru on March 31. The State Finals will be held at Bangalore on March 31.
