The number of professional course aspirants in the State is on the rise. With at least 11,000 additional candidates placing requests for CET 2010 application forms, the number of candidates this year stands at 1.35 lakh, compared with 1.24 lakh applicants last year.

The CET 2010 brochure was released by Higher Education Minister Arvind Limbavali here on Monday, sans details on the fee structure and medical seat matrix.

Mr. Limbavali said that the medical details would soon be fixed and the State would ink an MoU with private college managements.

Mr. Limbavali reiterated that the CET process would be as systematic as last year.
