Udupi district slipped from the top to the second position in the SSLC results announced on Monday. The district had topped the State last year with a pass percentage of 93.37. This year, the pass percentage is 89.52.
Diwaker Shetty, Deputy Director of Public Instruction, told The Hindu that the department would conduct a detailed analysis of the results to study where the district lagged. Detailed results would be known on Tuesday.
