The airline had earlier announced the closure of its operations from Mysore with effect from September 1, 2014 citing poor patronage, but political pressure and appeal from stakeholders forced the flight operator to reconsider its decision.

This service starts at an opportune time with festivities round the corner, and I hope this will help our customers to make the most from this occasion.”

SpiceJet bookings for Mysore are valid for the period August 21 to October 30 after which the authorities will review their decision on continuation of the service.
