Special trains during festivals

South Western Railway will run special trains between Yeshwantpur and Pandharpur to clear the extra rush during Holi and Ugadi festivals with nine trips in each direction. According to a SWR release, Yeshwantpur –Pandharpur biweekly special express (06541) will leave Yeshwantpur at 6 p.m. on Mondays and Thursdays and reach Pandharpur at 11.35 a.m. the next day. In the return direction, Pandharpur–Yeshwantpur biweekly special express will leave Pandharpur on Tuesdays and Fridays at 1.35 p.m. and reach Yeshwantpur at 6.30 a.m. the next day.

The first service from Yeshwantpur commenced on March 2, and the last service from Yeshwantpur will be on March 9. — Staff Reporter
