Security guard found murdered in Bangalore

In one of the three murders that rocked the city since Wednesday night, a 45-year-old security guard of a school in JP Nagar 6 phase was found murdered in front of the school gate on Thursday morning. The deceased Raghu Singh had just been employed as the security guard and it was his first day of work on Wednesday, police said.

Raghu, a native of Manipur, had come to the city just three days ago and had been employed by a private security agency. He had started work on Wednesday and later that night had slept under the portico of the building near the school gate of . Police said that his face had been crushed with a heavy stone due to which he had also sustained head injuries and succumbed later.

School staff who came to the building on Thursday morning found the gate locked and looked for the security guard. When they saw him lying dead nearby, they alerted the police.

Police said all his belongings including mobile and wallet were all intact and had been untouched. They are investigating to trace the assailants. Police said that all his relatives live in Manipur and were still waiting to get further information from them. A case of murder has been registered with the JP Nagar police.
