‘Ready to face ‘no-trust’ motion’

B. Siddaraju, president of the Mandya City Municipal Council (CMC), has said that he is ready to face ‘no-confidence’ motion at any time to prove his majority.

Speaking to presspersons here on Monday, Mr. Siddaraju, Independent, stated that some persons, including a few councillors, were trying to bring him down.

“I am a non-corrupt politician. I have been working for the development of Mandya. They can bring ‘no-confidence’ motion and I am ready to face it,” Mr. Siddaraju, who became the CMC president on September 17, 2013, said.
