The student took the extreme step to end his life following the management’s alleged action in debarring him from writing preparatory examinations on Tuesday.

In a complaint lodged with Malur police, Mr. Nagaraj alleged that his son was barred from writing the examination on Tuesday for his reported failure to clear the fee dues of Rs. 3,000.

Apparently upset by the action of the college management, Harsha went to his home in Santhehalli and committed suicide by hanging himself in a room.

The police have registered a case of unnatural death.
