The body was taken to Prabha's nephew's house in Chandra Layout in Bengaluru where her colleagues, friends and public paid homage. The body was flown to Mangaluru by a special chartered flight.

According to Prabha Arun Kumar’s younger brother Shivaprasad Shetty, the body was to come via road from the Mangaluru International Airport at around 12.30 p.m.

Family members will be paying condolences and conduct other rituals for about an hour. Mr. Shetty said the body will be kept for sometime for public viewing and the last rites would be performed at around 5 p.m.
