Members of various Hindu organisations filed a petition against Bollywood actor Aamir Khan here on Friday for allegedly hurting the sentiments of Hindu community by mocking gods in his recently released movie ‘PK’.

In a delegation, they met the sub-inspector of police at the Mandy East police station and submitted a petition against the actor. They demanded registration of a first-information report (FIR) against Aamir Khan, the director and producer of the movie.

“We will not tolerate derogatory remarks against Hindu religion,” Manjunath, who led the delegation, told press persons.

They also urged the Union and State governments to take measures to stop the screening of PK across the country.

Bhavani Lal, manjunath, S.K. Krishna, N. Krishna and others were present.
