A youth was killed and his friend was injured when a car hit the two-wheeler which the duo was riding on KGF-Bangarpet main road under Bangarpet police limits on Tuesday evening. The police gave the name of the deceased as Sudip (19) and the injured as Srikanth (19).
While Sudip died of injuries, Srikanth was admitted to a private hospital in Kolar, the police said.
Suicide
A 16-year-old boy reportedly committed suicide by hanging at his residence at Malayali Line at Marikuppam under Marikuppam police limits on Tuesday evening. Police gave the name of the deceased as Sureshbabu.
According to a complaint filed by Suresh’s father Selvaraju, the boy was suffering from respiration complications. As treatments did not yield results, a depressed Sureshbabu ended his life, the police said.
