The National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) is holding a two-day meeting at Kaiga from August 19 with senior State governments officials in the police, revenue and health departments on their preparedness to effectively tackle nuclear disasters.
Speaking to presspersons, the State Revenue Secretary Tushar Girinath, who attended a three-day workshop on Best International Practices in Building Resilient Cities organised by the government and Synergia Foundation, said NDMA member K.N. Singh and nuclear experts would address the meeting.
