Murder accused commits suicide

A 21-year-old woman, an accused in a murder case, allegedly committed suicide by jumping in front of a train on the Bengaluru-Mysuru track on Tuesday night.

The deceased has been identified as L. Anusha Bhai, resident of Chamundeshwari Nagar here. Station Master Anil Kumar saw her mutilated body near Yeliyur and alerted the Railway Police at Mysuru.According to the police, Anusha had allegedly strangled her close friend Divyashree (24), resident of Satyaharischandra Circle in Halahalli layout here, to death near Government Silk Warehouse on the outskirts of the city in the first week of April this year.
