At least seven of the 11 pre-university colleges that were raided by the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) in connection with the II PU chemistry question paper leakage case have secured over 90 per cent passes.

The Department of Pre-University Education accessed details of nine of the 11 colleges and found that seven of them had secured over 90 per cent passes. While one college secured 32.63 per cent, another secured 71.43 per cent passes.

The CID has ascertained the role of college managements in the paper leakage and made them accused in the case.

The son of one of the key accused in the question paper leakage case — Obalaraju, who was the personal assistant of Minister of State for Medical Education Sharanprakash R. Patil — has secured 92 per cent.
