The Bharatiya Janata Party on Monday finalised the dates for the political rallies to be addressed by it’s prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi in the State.
According to the modified schedule, Mr. Modi would address four rallies in two days on February 18 (in Davangere and Mangalore) and February 28 (in Gulbarga and Hubli).
Dalit conventionThe party has decided to shift the venue of its proposed convention of Dalits and backward classes from Chitradurga to Tumkur.
The convention to be addressed by Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan will be held on February 23.
Woman advocatesThe party will also organise a convention of woman advocates in Bangalore on February 8.
The decision finalising the dates and venues of these events was taken at a meeting of the party’s office-bearers and presidents of the district units here on Monday.
