Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi alleged on Thursday that the Congress was practising “vote-bank politics” by dividing communities, and accused the Union government of promoting a “pink revolution” by allowing the “sin” of slaughtering animals and exporting meat.

Addressing a public rally at the Nehru Maidan in Mangalore as part of the BJP’s election campaign, Mr. Modi alleged that the Union government was providing Rs. 50 crore subsidy for setting up slaughterhouses and exempting them from paying income tax for five years.

He criticised a State Congress leader’s remark that the anti-cow slaughter Bill would be dropped if the Congress was elected.

Mr. Modi said that the country had a “weak and directionless” government at the Centre. He claimed that the BJP was following the “politics of progress.”

In Belgaum, Mr. Modi repeatedly referred to AICC vice-president Rahul Gandhi as “Mr. Golden Spoon”, asking him to first look into the mirror before pointing fingers at the BJP in Karnataka on corruption.

If today they start creating slaughterhouses and export meat of some
form I wonder if they all start eating pork in a short while to prevent
manufacture and export from pig farms.Oh what a great thing! Modi will
finally change this predominantly Vegetarian country to Non-veg eating
healthy country.

Is butchering human beings not a sin according to Modi? As a fellow
commentor said, what Modi is doing is appeasing minority Brahmin
appeasement. In Jhajjar, Haryana five dalits were killed by the minority
Brahmin appeasers for skinning a dead cow.

Animal husbandry is widely practiced in India and many western nations, although India lacks infrastructure to raise livestock, it will be interesting if Modi had approached the matter from a scientific perspective, looking at the slaughter houses in India we will definitely feel sorry for all animals being slaughtered there, but given the huge demand for meat and livestock products, it is always good to look at how things are being carried out in western nations and implementing the same here. Lets stop mixing politics and religion.

Savarkar's views on Cow slaughter would be of interest in this occasion.
RSS lacks rational minded people now. People like Modi should refrain
from minority Brahmin appeasement and read the works of Savarkar.
Savarkar wrote, "A substance is edible to the extent that it is
beneficial to man. Attributing religious qualities to it gives it a
godly status. Such a superstitious mindset destroys the nation’s
intellect" (1935, Savarkaranchya goshti or tales of Savarkar, Samagra
Savarkar vangmaya, Vol. 2, p.559).

Anamika a comentator has made an observation weather Mr Narendra Modi knows the meaning of pink revolution .the person could have clarified for readers like me.Animal meat will look pink- violet to pale blue.Muslim and British rulers never thought killing any animal without any reason. They gave protection to flora and fauna.Rulers of Independent India are after money and destroying the National Wealth and ecosystem , destroying soil fertility.voter have to understand how the country is systematically being ruined for selfish motives .God save India.
