Meeting against corruption from July 9

As part of the ongoing efforts to launch an alternative people’s movement against corruption, communalisation and corporatisation of the domestic economy, a two-day convention ‘Janaparaya Sadyategalu Chintana Samavesha’ will be held at Vidyavardhaka Sangha premises at Dharwad from July 9.

Samaj Parivartana Samudaya president S.R. Hiremath and P. Rajeev, MLA, said that organisations such as the Karnataka Sarvodaya Party, Karnataka Rajya Raitha Sangha, Jana Sangram Parishat, Swaraj Abhiyan, Karnataka Janashakti, Samanategagi Janalandona, Gram Swaraj Abhiyan, Dalit and women’s organisations, and intellectuals and progressive thinkers from all over the State would participate in the deliberations.

Swaraj Abhiyan leader Yogendra Yadav, advocate Prashant Bhushan, writer Devanuru Mahadeva and farmers’ leader K.S. Puttanaiah would address at the convention. Veteran journalist and thinker Patil Puttappa would preside over it.
