Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation Staff and Workers Federation has decided to launch an indefinite fast from January 30, demanding that the State-run road transport corporations immediately release pending payments to employees.

The federation has accused corporations of not making timely payments of insurance premiums and provident fund, withholding gratuity, and not crediting incentives to employees, among others.

General secretary of the federation H.V. Anantha Subba Rao has demanded that the corporations revise the salary of employees as per the directions of the industrial tribunal.
