Former MLA, Sa.Lingaiah demanded the Congress party to ouster President of Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee, Dr. G. Parameshwara from the post and expel him from the party in-order to protect the party in the state.

Addressing a press conference here on Wednesday, Mr. Lingaiah alleged that Parameshwara was behind the demand of Dalit Chief Minister for Karnataka.

There has been a deep conspiracy to dethrone Siddaramaiah as Chief Minister of the state and it is Parameshwara who is behind this conspiracy, he alleged.

He alleged that Janata Dal (Secular) Supremo, H.D. Devegowda, former Chief Minister, H.D. Kumaraswamy are also behind the conspiracy to dethrone Siddaramaiah from the Chief Minister’s post.

There are Dalit leaders like Mallikarjuna Kharge, Srinivas Prasad and many others in Congress party but why only Parameshwara’s name is being proposed for the CM’s post.

He said he has written a letter to Chairperson of All India Congress Committee, Sonia Gandhi to expel Dr. G. Parameshwara from the party.

He alleged that those who are demanding for a Dalit Chief Minister does not belong to Congress party and also people belonging to their own caste are not supporting the demand for Dalit CM.

He also alleged that by proposing several legislations like controlling of Hindu religious institutions, anti-superstitious law, Minister for Law and Parliamentary Affairs, T.B. Jayachandra is also causing embarrassment to the government.

He said Siddaramaiah is the leader of Ahinda and is not anti-dalit.He said Siddaramaiah has to continue till the next assembly elections and then only the demand for Dalit CM could be raised.

Sa.Lingaiah was elected as an MLA from Sira assembly constituency during former Chief Minister, Devaraj Urs Government.
