BJP president Amit Shah’s statement that he will work towards a Congress-free India is highly condemnable, Bheemanna Khandre, AICC member and former minister has said.
In a release, Mr. Khandre said that Congress was a Pan-Indian association of like-minded people committed to a particular ideology. No one can destroy the Congress. It has been instrumental in making the country independent and for initiating several pro-people schemes, he said.
