Karwar-Yeswantpur Express diverted following land slide

Following land slide in Sakleshpur and Subramanya Road section of Mysuru Division of the South Western Railway, the service of Karwar-Yeswantpur Express (train number 16516), which left Karwar on Tuesday, will be diverted via Shoranur, Salem and Tirupatur. The service will have stops at Kannur, Palakkad, Coimbatore, Erode, Salem, Tirupatur, Kuppam and Bengarapet, said a release from Southern Railway's Palakkad Division here. The Southern Railway has said the track is likely to be restored by 8 p.m. on Tuesday and there is no change in the schedule of Karwar/Kannur-Bengaluru and Bengaluru-Karwar/Kannur Night Express.
