Kannada Okkoota calls rail bandh in Karnataka on September 23

Kannada Okkoota has called a State-wide dawn to dusk rail bandh on September 10 to protest against the interim report of the Mahadayi Water Disputes Tribunal.

Speaking to presspersons here on Tuesday, okkoota president Vatal Nagaraj said: “Members of Parliament from the State should exert pressure on Prime Minister Narendra Modi to convene a meeting involving Chief Ministers of Goa, Maharashtra and Karnataka and solve the dispute amicably.”
