Jayachandra justifies Sudarshan’s nomination

Minister for Law and Parliamentary Affairs, T.B. Jayachandra justified the nomination of former Chairman of Karnataka Legislative Council, V.R. Sudarshan as Chairman of Karnataka Public Service Commission (KPSC).

After inaugurating Police Department's annual sports meet here on Sunday, speaking to reporters, Mr. Jayachandra said that though he was associated with politics, he is an honest person and deserves to become the Chairman of KPSC.

He said after investigation into alleged suicide of an employee of Tumkur University is completed, he would speak about the Katigenahalli issue where the clash between the police and agitators agitating against the solid waste management plant near Ajjagondanahalli took place on December 20th.

He said the government will not interfere into the investigation of alleged suicide.
