Jana Sangram Parishat to intensify fight against corruption

The Jana Sangram Parishat (JSP), which is fighting against corruption in Karnataka, has decided to intensify its ongoing ‘Oust the corrupt from public life’ campaign. The executive committee of the JSP, which met in Dharwad on March 8, resolved to intensify its campaign against those facing corruption charges, especially those contesting the Lok Sabha elections. The JSP will campaign against D.K. Suresh and M. Veerappa Moily, S.R. Hiremath, founder-president of the SPS, has said. At a press conference here on Tuesday, Mr. Hiremath welcomed the government’s decision to refer to the Lokayukta Special Investigation Team the probe into the alleged role of seven serving and retired IAS an IPS officers in illegal mining.
