Abdul Hameed Akbar from Kalaburgi highlighted the messages inherent in Iqbal’s poetry such as the “conception of Allah” and the “meaning of prayer”. He also traced the philosophical bond between the 13th century Persian poet and Islamic scholar and a Sufi mystic whose influence transcended territorial borders and ethnic communities.
