Infosys' Mysore training facility turns 10

IT services major Infosys Ltd. announced that its ‘foundation programme', a training programme for entry-level engineering graduates at the Infosys Global Education Centre in Mysore, has turned 10. This 23-week residential training programme focuses on imparting generic and stream-specific training in various technology areas, along with soft skills and leadership programmes, to engineering graduates who join Infosys every year, a release from Infosys stated. Over 100,000 entry-level engineers have trained here, and it can house 15,000 trainees at any given time.

Sify offers video conferencing services

Sify Technologies Ltd. announced the launch of Sify Videomeet, a new-generation video conferencing-as-a-service for enterprises and emerging businesses. This service, powered by Vidyo, allows users to initiate and experience high-definition (HD), multi-point video collaboration beyond conventional conference rooms, without dedicated networks and on multiple devices — mobile phones, tablets, desktops, laptops and room systems, a release from the firm stated.
