Four arrested for stealing watches

The police have arrested four persons on the charge of stealing watches from a four-wheeler in Bhadravati town.

The accused are Shanmugha, Malathesh, Raghavendra and Rakshith, residents of Shivamogga.

125 watches

According to the police, the men had stolen two bags containing 125 watches placed in a four-wheeler near the taluk office in Bhadravati. The watches, worth Rs. 2.75 lakh in total, belonged to a firm engaged in wholesale distribution of watches. The incident took place when a few workers of the firm, bound to Bengaluru for distribution, were having lunch near the taluk office.
