Evaluation camp officers step down

Many of the camp officers of the evaluation centres, who are supposed to ensure that work goes smoothly, have stepped down. The Karnataka State PU Lecturers’ Association claimed that 23 of the 46 camp officers across the State chose to step down owing to the confusion.

“The department has roped in its staff for coding and de-coding work but they are not experienced. We do not want to be responsible for any chaos or confusion resulting from this,” a evaluation officer said. The DPUE, however, claimed that they have received no letters in this regard.
