Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee president G. Parameshwara, on Friday, demanded that Prime Minister Narendra Modi drop Giriraj Singh from the Ministry for indulging in “character assassination” of Congress president Sonia Gandhi and for tarnishing the party’s image through his unsavoury comments.
In a statement here, Dr. Parameshwara said Ms. Gandhi had upheld the culture of the country by being the daughter-in-law of the Nehru family. Mr. Singh’s comments only reflect the ugly minds, which ought to be condemned, he said.
