Drive to push elephants back to forest continues

The Forest department personnel managed to drive two elephants from Mallasandra tank near Tumakuru to Adrangi forest in Nelamangala taluk in Bengaluru rural district.

Out of eight tuskers, two tuskers have been driven back to the forest on Monday night. Four tuskers are in Hunaganaala in Manchaladore forest in Gubbi taluk and two tuskers in Nonavinakere tank in Turuvekere taluk.

Assistant Conservator of Forests, D. Devaraj told The Hindu , “driving operation will continue till all the tuskers are driven back to the forest”.
