Farmers end life

A debt-ridden farmer reportedly committed suicide at Herur village near the Krishna in Deodurg taluk, about 70 km from here. The police suspect that he must have hanged himself a couple of days ago. His body was recovered on Thursday evening. The deceased has been identified as Paramesh (58), a native of Ramanal village in the same taluk.

In Bidar, Tukaram Chauhan (40), a farmer from Sedola village in Humnabad, allegedly committed suicide on Saturday as he was unable to repay debts.
