H.M. Maheshwaraiah, Vice-Chancellor of Central University of Karnataka in Kalaburagi, has said that the All India Entrance Examinations would be conducted on May 27 and May 28 in 29 centres all over India and 17 in Karnataka.
Addressing presspersons here on Friday, Prof. Maheshwaraiah said the entrance examination for undergraduate and Ph.D programmes would be conducted on May 27, and for postgraduate programmes it would be held on May 28.
As against the total intake of 835 seats, which includes 250 dual degree seats, 432 postgraduate seats, 63 Ph.D seats and 90 seats for standalone programmes including 30 seats for BBA and 60 seats for B.Tech in Aerospace Engineering, the university received 2,500 applications.
The last date for submission of application forms is June 17. Eight per cent of the total seats would be reserved for candidates of Hyderabad Karnataka.
