Conference on leading schools in Brahmavar in Karnataka

The Association of ICSE and CBSE Schools (AICS) and Little Rock Indian School are jointly organising an international conference on ‘Leading effective schools’ at Brahmavar in Udupi district from October 6 to 8.

In a press release issued here, T.J. Quadros, Principal of Glowinstar Integrated School Udupi, who is the president of AICS, and Mathew C. Ninan, convener of the conference and Principal of Little Rock Indian School, said that nearly 200 principals and senior faculty from different progressive schools of South India are expected to participate.

The conference which will coincide with decennial celebrations of the AICS, aimed at focusing on many vital and innovative school practices that are absolutely imperative in a fast-changing world.

Michael Chirichello, Professor of Northern Kentucky University, U.S.A., will chair the conference and deliver the inaugural keynote. Darlene DeMarie from University of South Florida; Claude Boever, Director of Atert-Lycée in Redange, Luxembourg; K. Ramnarayan, Vice Chancellor of Manipal University; Shashikala Gurpur of Symbiosis University, Pune; and Sunney Tharappan, Director AIM Insights, Mangalore; are the other key speakers.
