Christmas celebrations at St. Philomena School on Sunday

‘Christa namana’, a cultural programme of dance and music is being held at the auditorium of St. Philomena School in the city as part of Christmas celebrations on Sunday from 5.30 pm.

The nearly two-hour colourful cultural event, organised jointly by Doordarshan Kendra Bangalore, All India Radio Hosapete, Catholic Diocese of Ballari and United Christian Forum, will host a variety of cultural events by around 520 talented artistes, Nadoja Mahesh Joshi, Additional Director General Doordarshan (South Zone) New Delhi, told press persons here on Saturday.

The cultural events will be inaugurated by Bernard Moras, Archbishop, Bangalore.

The recordings of the cultural event will be telecast on Doordarshana’s Chandana channel on December 24 at 9.30 a.m. and repeated on December 25 at 9.30 p.m. Entry is free.
