KPCC president G. Parameshwara on Thursday said the Criminal Investigation Department had tried its best to nab culprits who murdered scholar and rationalist M.M. Kalburgi. “The CID launched the biggest manhunt” but was unable to nab the culprits. But the police have cracked down on more than 90 per cent of murder cases, he said.
